Cool tBLOG quotes:

"Soldiers dying in Iraq are dying to defend the US against terrorism as a victory in Iraq is a victory in the war on terror. They are dying to defend freedom and democracy in the US and to spread freedom and democracy to Iraq. They are dying for the interests of the US, her allies, and by extension, all Americans (whether they understand it or not). They are not dying for Haliburton, oil, or any other ridiculous shit / slant the anti-war types or conspiracy theorists want to spin. Haliburton is a company (among many others, both US and foreign) that seized a chance to profit in REBUILDING Iraq. There is a big difference between that and war-profiteering. Haliburton did not start the war, terrorists and those that support them did. Putting the chicken before the egg just won’t fly." -polymath

"[B]efore you [Europeans] write us off as just a bunch of sweaty, hairy-chested, Bible-thumping morons who are more likely to break their fast by dipping a Krispy Kreme into a diet cola than a biscotti into an espresso - and who inexplicably have won more Nobel prizes than all other countries combined, host 25 or 30 of the world's finest universities and five or six of the world's best symphonies, produce wines that win prizes at your own tasting competitions, have built the world's most vibrant economy, are the world's only military superpower and, so to speak in our spare time, have landed on the moon and sent our robots to Mars - may I suggest you stop frothing at the mouth long enough to consider just what are these ideas we hold that you find so silly and repugnant?"
- LynnKramer

"Democracy may have been invented in Greece, but cowardess was invented in France where it lives and thrives to this very day."
- RedTigress

"I'm referring to the Iraqi terrorist bastard fighters. The ones liberals insist are either not in Iraq, or are there by the thousands, depending on which liberal you listen to."
- noguru

"How is it that the Left can believe absolute crazy shit, like the Bush-Saudi Arabian money connection, or the even worse and totally false Bush-bin Laden connection (based on 100% lies) and look at you straight and say there was absolutely no way that Saddam Hussein and Al Qaeda had ties?"

People Want to Kill Bush???
11.28.04 (12:08 pm)   [edit]

That's a suprise.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0" title="http://www.foxnews.com/story/0" target="_blank"http://www.foxnews.com/story/...,2933,139779,00.html

BOGOTA, Colombia — Co lombia's main rebel group asked followers to mount an assassination attempt against President Bush (search) during his visit to Colombia last week, Defense Minister Jorge Uribe said. There was no evidence Saturday that rebels even tried to organize such an attack.

Uribe told reporters late Friday that informants said the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (search), known as the FARC, told followers to attack Bush during his four-hour visit in the seaside city of Cartagena last Monday, where he met with Colombian President Alvaro Uribe.

The defense minister, who is no relation to the president, said security forces were on full alert during the visit. About 15,000 Colombian troops and police, along with U.S. troops and Secret Service (search) agents provided security. There was no indication Bush's life was ever in danger.

15,000 Colombian troops???  That's pretty cool.  But is this really news?  Isn't it a given that a Colombian rebels would jump at a chance to kill Bush?  I would be more shocked to find out they were ordered not to kill the president.

There are plenty of liberals, in this country, that would try to kill Bush, but fortunately, they don't own guns.

There's not enough news anymore.  Not even PETA could manage some spectacular demonstration for Thanksgiving.

I guess this Ukraine thing could blow up into something, which reminds me.  You liberals in this country are hella lazy.  In Eastern Ukraine there are hundreds of thousands of demonstrators in the streets.  The only protest you guys have in the works is an inauguration protest, which would draw a few thousand if you're lucky.  And to think you call yourselves angry.

Video Game About Killing JFK
11.23.04 (1:31 pm)   [edit]

What retards are insensitive enough to make a game where you get to assasinate JFK?  Apparently the Scottish.

http://slate.msn.com/id/2110034/" title="http://slate.msn.com/id/2110034/" target="_blank"http://slate.msn.com/id/21100...

The game I'm playing, JFK Reloaded, was released today by the Scottish company Traffic, on the 41st anniversary of the Kennedy assassination. Not surprisingly, it provoked a backlash before anyone ever played it. "It's despicable. There's really no further comment," said a spokesman for Ted Kennedy.

On the surface, the game certainly seems like a loathsome piece of opportunism. The designers, though, claim the game's intent is to educate. The stated goal of JFK Reloaded is to debunk assassination conspiracy theories by buttressing the Warren Commission's conclusion that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone and fired only three bullets. So, the game places you in the precise place where Oswald stood—the sixth-floor window of the Texas Schoolbook Depository—and challenges you to re-create his three shots. One shot missed the car entirely; another hit JFK in the neck; and a third hit the president's head, causing what the commission called "a massive and fatal wound." The closer you get to matching those three trajectories, the closer you get to a perfect score of 1,000. (The game designers are also offering a cash prize to the player who gets the highest score.) You can replay the scene as many times as you'd like.

What are these game designers thinking?

Retarded designer #1:  "Hey guys, I've got an idea.  Lets make a game where you get to murder the leader of the free world, President of the United States."

Retarded designer #2:  "That's a good idea, but it would be better if we made the game about a president that's already been assasinated."

#1:  "Lincoln?"

#2:  "No, I don't think there's too much involved in busting in and shooting the president from a few feet away."

#1:  "How about JFK?"

#2:  "Ingenius!  Sure he was well liked and brutally murdered, but I don't see why that wouldn't make a good game."

#1:  "How about we release it on the anniversary of his assasination?"

#2:  "Excellent!  Now we just need to find a place to market this game..."

#1:  "The United States?"

#2:  "You're just full of great ideas.  Why wouldn't the Americans relish in the opportunity to murder their former president."

Here's some more ideas for games:

[b]On the Wings of Allah[/b]:  You play a young muslim man piloting a plane into the Pentagon.  The point of this game is to disprove the conspiracy of a missile hitting the Pentagon instead of a plane.

[b]War Criminal[/b]:  You play a Vietnamese soldier that gets to torture the American war criminals.  This game is about exploring the anatomy of the human body.

For once I actually agree with Ted Kennedy.  "It's despicable."

Clinton's Prime-time Outburst
11.20.04 (10:21 am)   [edit]

I love this guy!  I hate his values, policies, morals, pretty much everything, but something about a television outburst really makes me like the guy.

I saw this on FNC last night, and it's the funniest video.  It's just not the same reading it, but you're gonna have to.

http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/news/archive/20 04/11/19/national1855EST0 672.DTL" title="http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/news/archive/20 04/11/19/national1855EST0 672.DTL" target="_blank"http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin...

The former president responded, "You don't want to go here, Peter. You don't want to go here. Not after what you people did and the way you, your network, what you did with Kenneth Starr. The way your people repeated every, little sleazy thing he leaked. No one has any idea what that's like."

"You never had to live in a time when people you knew and cared about were being indicted, carted off to jail, bankrupted, ruined, because they were Democrats and because they would not lie," he said. "So, I think we showed a lot of moral fiber to stand up to that. To stand up to these constant investigations, to this constant bodyguard of lies, this avalanche that was thrown at all of us. And, yes, I failed once. And I sure paid for it. And I'm sorry. I'm sorry for the American people. And I'm sorry for the embarrassment they performed."

You people!  I thought he was going to get out of his chair and beat Peter Jennings with it.  Kind of the same feeling I got when Bush interrupted Charlie Gibson.  It was awesome.  I'm just glad FNC wasn't the focus of liberal aggression, but sure enough, Kerry filled that void.

In a movie he sent out to his minions, Kerry lumps FNC in with Sinclair Broadcasting and conservative talk radio.  That was pretty funny too.

The ACLU's War on Morality
11.17.04 (3:36 pm)   [edit]

I could live with the usual Jihad against Christianity, but taking down the Boy Scouts goes too far!  I'm an Eagle Scout, and my troop was in Heidelberg Germany.  Our Scout Hut was an army building that was rarely used for anything, and if the ACLU gets it's way, you can bet that troop and all the others that met there are going to be kicked out.

Scouting is one of the few forces out there keeping kids growing up right.  Nothing teaches kids leadership and teamwork better than the Boy Scouts, and no organization teaches such a large variety of skills as the Boy Scouts.  Leave it to the ACLU to an organization based around being trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

http://www.aclu.org/ReligiousLiberty/Reli giousLiberty.cfm?ID=17023&" title="http://www.aclu.org/ReligiousLiberty/Reli giousLiberty.cfm?ID=17023&" target="_blank"http://www.aclu.org/Religious...;c=141

CHICAGO - In response to a religious discrimination lawsuit brought by the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois, the Defense Department today agreed to end direct sponsorship of hundreds of Boy Scout units, which require members to swear religious oaths, on military facilities across the United States and overseas.

"If our Constitution's promise of religious liberty is to be a reality, the government should not be administering religious oaths or discriminating based upon religious beliefs," said Adam Schwartz of the ACLU of Illinois. "This agreement removes the Pentagon from direct sponsorship of Scout troops that engage in religious discrimination."

Nyeh nyeh nyeh, religious discrimination.  They are of course talking about athiests.  I don't know where they get off with this government administering religious oaths thing.  I don't remember soldiers being paid to come lead us in prayer.  COME ON RUMSFELD!!  You're my favorite cabinet member, do something about this!

There are a lot of people not allowed to join the boy scouts.  Girls aren't allowed to join, that's discriminatio n.  Gays can't join, that's discrimination.  I'm pretty sure sex offenders can't join, that's discrimination.  If you can't afford to pay the dues you can't join, so I guess they're discriminating against poor people too.  I'm sure I could go on.

If they want to throw a hissy fit and get gay men/boys into an all male organization, it pisses me off, but now instead of trying to open up the boy scouts, they're trying to tear them down.  If you can't change them, destroy them.

The O'Reilly factor is on and apparently the ACLU is trying to restrict public displays of Christmas decorations and ban Christmas music.  It's getting really hard for me to write without using obscenities, so I'm going to have to stop.

The Marine Shot the Guy, So What??
11.16.04 (3:54 pm)   [edit]

WARNING: GRAPHIC

Before you pity this terrorist...

...remember these...

fallujah_31mar04-afp1.jpg

Same town, same islamofascists.  For whatever reason, I'm not exactly mourning his death.

The guy was faking dead.  He was asking for it.  You don't fake dead unless you plan on luring American forces in, it's plain and simple.  Why the news keeps reporting on this is beyond me.

Cheney Having Medical Problems Again!
11.13.04 (10:49 am)   [edit]

Come on!  He quit smoking, started working out, watched his diet, and he's still having problems??

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0" title="http://www.foxnews.com/story/0" target="_blank"http://www.foxnews.com/story/...,2933,138491,00.html

Vice President Dick Cheney (search), who has a history of heart ailments, was taken to a hospital on Saturday after he complained of shortness of breath.

"On the recommendation of his doctors, the vice president is going to George Washington University Hospital (search) for some tests," spokesman Ken Lisaius said. "He experienced some shortness of breath Saturday morning and has had a bad cold, which could be the cause for the shortness of breath."

I guess we can hope it's just the cold.

We all know of Cheney's history of medical problems, and God forbid, what if Cheney dies in office?  I know some of you liberals, namely the same ones who celebrated Reagan's death, are hoping this happens, and I think it could.

Now the 25th Amendment states:

Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

So who would Bush pick?  I'm willing to bet it would be Guiliani, to set him up for 08, but I'm still not sure republicans are psyched about having Guiliani as the nominee.

Then you have to factor in Congress.  Republicans don't have a majority in either, so Bush isn't exactly free to pick whoever he wants, which is another reason I think it'll be Guiliani.

Then there's another problem.  Call me crazy, but I believe one of the big reasons Bush will not be assasinated, despite how much liberals hate him, is that Cheney would take over.

So Cheney, if you're reading this, and I know you are, don't die.  With Arafat going, it might seem to be the cool thing to do, but lets not go down that road.

Alberto Gonzales, Best Attorney General Ever!
11.10.04 (2:22 pm)   [edit]

For those of you who don't know, John Ashcroft is stepping down and Alberto Gonzales, soon to be coolest Atto rney General ever, will be taking over.  I say he is the coolest not because I know anything about him, but because he has the coolest name.

If you thought Maria Bartiromo or George Stephanopoulos were cool, they've got nothing on this guy.  Just say it...Alberto Gonzales!  Be sure to say it in your latino accent with emphasis on the z.  Gonzales!  Gonzales!

Man do I love this not having to worry about the election thing.  If only there were something important to blog about, like world leaders dying or insurrections being crushed.  Maybe next month. Gonzales!

Election Demographics
11.07.04 (11:40 am)   [edit]

I came across this at gallup.  I'm not too interested in how Bush compared to Kerry, but rather how he compared to himself 4 years ago.

Okay, this appears pretty far down the page for whatever reason, and I don't know how to fix it.

They're missing the one demographic I really wanted to see, veterans.  Bush beat Kerry by such a large margin there, considering Kerry was playing the war hero, that I wanted to see if he actually did better against Gore than Kerry.

But looking at the others, you see Bush increased his minority standing, which is always a plus.  He increased his Catholic margin, which is something you wouldn't expect seeing as how Kerry is Catholic and Gore wasn't.

I'm not sure how Bush managed to do better with liberals this time around but worse with moderates, but I'm not sure why Bush went down more than Kerry in the polls when Nader was factored in either.

Extending the Olive Branch
11.05.04 (8:50 am)   [edit]

It has been brought to my attention that I am apparently ripping the country apart at the seams by celebrating Bush's victory, so maybe there's something I can do to stop that.

The election is over, and we are no longer democrats and republicans, we are Americans, and as Americans, we should not be attacking eachother, but uniting and working towards the common good of our people.

There's no reason to call Bush Hitler, a murderer, etc.  There's no reason to make fun of......whoever's calling the shots on the democrat side.  The election is over and this is a time for national healing.

So I expect you will now all be ceasing your negative blogging.  Please comment and tell me if this has eased your pain.

Life is Sweet
11.03.04 (12:38 pm)   [edit]

Why stop at one post when you can go with 2.

This election couldn't have turned out better:

#1.  Bush won the presidency, and this wasn't just barely skating through like it was in 2000.  The closest state that mattered was won by over 100,000 votes.  The popular vote was won by over 3.5 million so far.

#2.  We've gained 4 seats in the Senate and 4 in the House (so far).

#3.  Bush will get to appoint justices, but I guess the liberals could still do something about this.

Man it's going to be fun watching our little lefty friends out there realize what just happened.

I have to give Kerry credit, he did give a good resignation speech a few hours ago, and he actually looked sincere, unlike Gore.

Now the big question on my mind is what to blog about.  You'll notice most my posts revolve around Kerry, and a vast majority of them deal with the election, so I don't know what I'll do.  I guess there's always peta...

YEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAW!!
11.03.04 (1:31 am)   [edit]

I know there's povisional ballots left in Ohio, but not only do pretty much all of them have to be counted, which is extremely unlikely in itself, but like 90% of them have to go to Kerry.  SO FACE IT SUCKAS!!  YOU LOST!!  MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!&n bsp; 4 more years of hell, 4 more wars, and anything else we can do to make your life a living nightmare.  YEEEEEE FRICKIN' HAAAAAAAAW!

Here We Go
11.02.04 (2:11 pm)   [edit]

The day is finally here.  Democrats obviously have much more on the line seeing as how republicans will very much likely still control a majority of Congress, but that doesn't mean we can just give up the presidency.

I'm watching FNC, and watching their website, and so far It's 34-4 Bush, but none of the battleground states have had their results come in yet, so I can watch Comedy Central or something.  I won't be staying up all night or even waking up early because I'm one of those crazy people that thinks the election won't be decided for a couple years.

I'm hoping for a tie.  Bush will most likely be picked by the House in a tie, and nothing would make me happier than to here liberals whine about it for the next 4 years.
