"Soldiers dying in Iraq are dying to defend the US against terrorism as a victory in Iraq is a victory in the war on terror. They are dying to defend freedom and democracy in the US and to spread freedom and democracy to Iraq. They are dying for the interests of the US, her allies, and by extension, all Americans (whether they understand it or not). They are not dying for Haliburton, oil, or any other ridiculous shit / slant the anti-war types or conspiracy theorists want to spin. Haliburton is a company (among many others, both US and foreign) that seized a chance to profit in REBUILDING Iraq. There is a big difference between that and war-profiteering. Haliburton did not start the war, terrorists and those that support them did. Putting the chicken before the egg just won’t fly."

Among Bush voters, 83% say that American society is generally fair and decent. Just 7% say it is basically unfair and discriminatory.
While Bush voters are united behind this perception, Kerry voters are divided--46% say fair and decent while 37% say unfair and discriminatory.
Eighty-one percent (81%) of Bush voters also believe the world would be better if other nations were more like the United States. This view is shared by just 48% of Kerry voters.
Like there was ever any doubt. At least now I have numbers. This is also Bush voters vs Kerry voters. I'm going out on a limb here, but I'd be willing to bet Nader voters would hate America even more. And if you remember my other blog, that makes the left racist also. So come election time, remember that the people that hate America (could also include terrorists assuming they could vote) vote Kerry.
O'BRIEN: Let's go through just what Senator Kerry had to say. The whole notion of the Clean Air Act being loosened so much that companies are allowed to pollute in ways they weren't before. Is that an accurate take?
EBELL: No. Senator Kerry exaggerates greatly about the Clean Air Act. In fact, as all the indexes show, Americans' air is getting better in virtually every part of the country.
There are still some places that have poor air and air quality. And those are almost entirely due to very difficult local conditions like the L.A. basin having mountains just east of the basin trapping dirty air.
So, no, he exaggerates there. And I think he does not give credit to the Bush administration for its continued enforcement of the Clean Air Act.
And what was the #1 source of thermal pollution in Houston that day? THAR SHE BLOWS!! HOT AIR THAT IS!
O'BRIEN: Just a final thought here about the Clean Water Act. Do you feel that Mr. Kerry was once again exaggerating as well?
EBELL: Actually, there he has his facts wrong. The Supreme Court decided that waters that are not of the United States but are purely state waters. That is wetlands that are not connected to rivers that flow into other states, that those wetlands should be regulated by the states and not by the federal government. That is a Supreme Court decision.
And as far as I can understand, Senator Kerry, he is proposing to defy a Supreme Court decision and not enforce the law of the land.
It's not like he'd be elected to enforce the law of the land, since he, apparently, wasn't elected senator this term to vote.
Lets pay a visit to Google News and see what the ACLU is up to...
In North Carolina the ACLU is suing a school for removing the posters of a gay student running for student body president.
The posters said things like "Queer Eye for Hunt High" and "Gay Guys Know Everything."
The move comes in the wake of the school's defiant response to the ACLU's demands yesterday afternoon. In a letter to the ACLU, the school's attorney claimed that any speech related to student government is school-sponsored speech and therefore the school has the right to censor it. The school went on to say Gamwell's posters were "disruptive" and had nothing to do with his qualifications to be president. This morning, in a further effort to silence Gamwell, school officials announced to students that campaign speeches planned for today have been cancelled.
This makes sense to me. Now lets see why the ACLU has a problem with it.
"The North Carolina constitution makes it clear that students in situations like Jarred's have a right to free expression, and Jarred has already explained that he wanted to use the posters to let other students know that he values diversity," said Seth Jaffe, Managing Attorney of the ACLU of North Carolina. "The school's argument that the posters were disruptive is patently ridiculous. References to popular TV shows don't cause riots in the hallways."
Here's where it gets interesting. Reffering to the epitome of gay TV and openly flaunting your sexuality in the face of straight students could very well result in violence. This would hold even more true if North Carolina is as anti-gay as I believe it may be. In Massechusetts you could get away with this, but in the South, where certain people wouldn't take kindly to gays saying their better than straights, this wouldn't just blow over.
If students were putting "White People Know Everything, So Vote For Me" on posters, the school would take it down. Now imagine that sign placed in a predominantly black school, can you see the racial tensions that would erupt? I could see the ACLU managing to overlook that one.
After discovering I accidently added something to track how people are finding my site, I was beyond suprised at what I found.
Search Kerry Officials Outsourcing I'm #1, SUCK ON THAT!! That's a pretty generic term too. EDIT: It gets better. I'm #2 for Kerry Officials by itself. BWAHAHAHA!!
Search for Kerry on Healthcare I'm proud of this one too. I'm right there #6 on the 1st page. That means anyone searching for Kerry's healthcare plan will more than likely run across my blog!!
Search for Ted Kennedy NCLB I'm #4!!! So anyone searching for Ted Kennedy's perspective on the No Child Left Behind Act, will see me!
ANOTHER EDIT: It seems I also beat out GOP.com for republican flog. I'm not to happy about stealing that spot, but I've still got it. I get the top spot for linking to that site, lucky me.
There are plenty more, but these are the best I've come across.
John Kerry will undergo surgery to repair his right shoulder. He originally hurt it when he suddenly switched positions on Iraq.” —Craig Kilborn
“Today, John Kerry announced a fool-proof plan to wipe out the $500B deficit … he’s going to put it on his wife’s Gold Card.” —Craig Kilborn
“John Kerry described his Republican critics as ‘the most crooked, lying group I’ve ever seen.’ Now, that’s saying something, because Kerry’s both a lawyer and a politician.” —Jay Leno
These cracked me up.
I'm no expert at editing photographs, but I think I could start making my own...
I return to the forum I have long since abandoned due to lack of rational arguments, but I returned briefly to find that it's gone to hell even more so than when I left. It's now nothing more than leftist filth. I know very well that not all leftists are like these that I'll be quoting, but I'm too hate-filled right now to care.
USA CAN SUCK MY COCK, YOU GUYS SERIOUSLY ARE REDNECK TOOTHLESS WHORE BAGS WHOE FUCK YOUR SISTER WHY DONT YOU GO AND INVADE CHINA...OH YEAH you cant coz you DONT HAVE THE TROOPS, CAN YOIULL GET DEAFEATED....AND I KNOW YOULL GO..No!! WE WOULD NEVER BE DEFEATED BECUASE YOU ARE LOST IN YOUR PATRIOTIC SELF. I BURN THE USA FLAG THEN I PISS ON YOUR ASSHES.
This, my leftist friends, is your international support. It's not just this one case, if I had a nickle for every anti-American post I've seen along these lines, Kerry might marry me. Support Bush or not, you're still a redneck, toothless, whore bag according to many worldwide.
so bob, is your daddy some kind of hot shit jack officer in the armed forces, fighting the heroic war around the world on whatever?
There are leftists supporting our troops abroad, but wait, they've got more support left in em.
then what the fuck are you doing abroad on a military base in a foreign country? are they now accepting retards to fight the war of what the fuck ever?
But when you get laid off it is perfectly ok and quite normal to beat up your wives. Military scum.
who gives a royal rat's ass anyway..the average mentality of most of your military types ranges from "search and deystroy," to just bein' "one of the boys." i think they're ALL assholes, especially the ones putting their dumb numb nuts on the line for fucking "operation iraqi freedom?!?" free your mind first, and MAYBE, just MAYBE, the fucking rest will follow!
Makes you long for the lack of free-speech the Iraqis enjoyed before the war.
There seems to be very few conservatives on this board, so lets take a look at the responses they get when they make a point.
I am tempted to believe that he's being so stupid on purpose, but the consistency of his ignorance is just too much overwhelming evidence against him.
Sure enough, they seem to be confusing evidence with insults.
I think kornbob is a bigot and a madman.
Once again, lack of proof, but because he's a conservative, he must be a bigot and a madman.
Jerry don't blame bob and des for only seeing in black and white. Their lives must be joyless and sad. Just thank whatever you believe in for your technicolour vision.
There goes another response to a point she couldn't refute.
Don't know you must have been raised that way.
When the member accused of seeing in Black and White asked why, the accuser manages to dodge answering the question.
Everytime I find things like this, it just makes me more and more proud to be a conservative. I'll come across the ignorant conservative posts every now and then on various forums, but rarely are they to the extreme of the liberal posts I come across.
Although what I've posted does show where Kerry had falsely claimed to have served with Alston, it doesn't show that Alston was lying about being with Kerry. Maybe Alston served "with" him, kind of like the Swift Vets served "with" Kerry. But not even the swift vets said they served on Kerry's boat like this guy has.
Poor democrats, the only reason they picked Kerry is because Dean broke down and they saw Kerry's Vietnam record. I'm glad that ploy backfired.
Apparently Kerry lied about certain parts of his military experience.
WASHINGTON -- Vietnam combat records posted on John F. Kerry's campaign website for the month of January 1969 as evidence of his service aboard swift boat No. 94 describe action that occurred before Kerry was skipper of that craft, according to the officer who said he commanded the boat at the time.
On the site, the Massachusetts senator is described as the skipper of Navy boat No. 94 during several actions in late January 1969.
However, Edward Peck, who was the skipper of the 94 before Kerry took over, said combat reports posted by the campaign for January 1969 involve action when he was the skipper, not Kerry. Peck, who was seriously wounded in fighting that took place on Jan. 29, 1969, said he believes Kerry campaign aides made a mistake in claiming Kerry as skipper of the 94 at that time.
I guess I could believe they made a mistake, if it weren't for this:
For example, in a summary of action that occurred Jan. 26, 1969, the campaign says Kerry served on boat No. 94 alongside another boat, No. 66. "PCFs 94 and 66 escorted troops up the Ong Doc River early in the morning when they were ambushed by gun and rocket fire from approximately 40 men on both sides of the river," the campaign summary says. "Two B-40 rounds hit close to Kerry's boat, while PCF 66 received 2 B-40 rocket hits. Three men on PCF66 were wounded. A junk containing South Vietnamese troops was also sunk, killing 11 South Vietnamese troops. Intelligence reports after the mission indicated that the Viet Cong troops may have planned the ambush in advance."
Peck said he was the skipper of the 94 at this time and that Kerry was not on the craft. While combat reports show several boats traveling with the 94, the campaign website says only that Kerry was the skipper of the 94 and does not try to place him on the other boats.
In another report, the campaign summarizes action that took place on Jan. 29, 1969, this way: "While Kerry's boat and another [PCF72] were probing a canal along the river, Kerry's boat came under heavy fire and was hit by a B-40 rocket in the cabin area. One member of Kerry's crew -- Forward Gunner David Alston -- suffered shrapnel wounds in his head. His injuries were not considered serious and he was sent to the 29th Evac Hospital at Binh Thuy."
Peck said he was the skipper on this day as well. Peck was also injured in the ambush and was hospitalized.
As a result, Kerry then took over the crew, Peck said. The Navy combat report posted by the Kerry campaign states that Peck and Alston were injured in the same event. There is no mention of Kerry in that report.
Kerry's commanding officer, George Elliott, said in a telephone interview that he vividly recalls Peck's injury and hospitalization and Kerry's replacement of Peck. "I think somebody made a mistake who doesn't know" the timing of Kerry's service, Elliott said. Kerry was skipper of boat No. 44 in December and January before taking over command of the 94, he said.
If I were Kerry, I'd probably remember something like that. If I were Kerry there would be a lot of things I'd remember that he doesn't seem to be able to. But I'm not Kerry. So I'll just give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he's just senile instead of lying. I guess I could do that, but apparently the liberals seem to think its still lying if you truly believe what you're telling people is correct *coughWMDscough*.
I've believe I've quoted people from the Democratic Underground before, but nobody really cares if they're calling for the death of politicians. I guess nobody really cared that Sen. Kerry was at a meeting that discussed the assasination of senators, but will anybody now care about St. Petersburg Democratic Club in Florida? I doubt it.
The St. Petersburg Democratic Club has published an ad that calls for the killing of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.
The club ran a newspaper ad that says: "We should put this S.O.B. up against a wall and say 'This is one of our bad days,' and pull the trigger." The Drudge Report describes more about the ad. Democratic operatives are now claiming that "pull the trigger" just meant that Democrats should let Rumsfeld know where they stand on political issues.
Please! I think we all know what pull the trigger means.
This is the stuff that needs to go in Bush campaign ads. I do like the one I've been seeing lately with that "Mr. Kerry," "No." But they could do better.
I Guess I Can Now Officially Call the Left Racists
Now watch as I connect the dots with various definitions.
Racist:
Discrimination or prejudice based on race.
Prejudice:
Irrational suspicion or hatred of a particular group, race, or religion.
Hatred:
Intense animosity or hostility.
Anti-American:
Opposed or hostile to the government, official policies, or people of the United States.
So if you're anti-american, and most of you leftists are by that definition, you're hostile towards our race. If you are hostile towards our race, you hate our race. If you hate our race, you are prejudiced towards the American race. You are then a racist.
It's hilarious, has photos so you can get a better picture of what was going on, and it makes you appreciate being on our side of the political spectrum. I'll quote some parts.
Jim comes back, and he has a pale, skinny, red-headed radical in tow. I instantly recognize him from the March 20 rally in Balboa Park as the leader of the local chapter of SNAFU (Support Network for an Armed Forces Union), a group that seeks to promote “resistance within the military.” In his speech, he had spouted some serious Marxist rhetoric about “taking it to the streets” to fight a “revolution” against the “corporate fascist pigs,” or some such nonsense.
Red is wearing a T-shirt with a graphic of a terrorist, and the words “Palestine Will Be Free” emblazoned across the front. He’s also sporting a red armband, and those tiny, thick framed eyeglasses that are all the rage with the radical revolutionary crowd.
“Are you SNAFU?” I ask, offering my hand. “I recognize you from the March 20 rally.”
“Yeah, who are you?” He’s looking around at my Protest Warriors.
“I’m a vet. Served in Iraq.”
But it’s too late – he’s staring right past me, at Bryon Scott’s sign:
Question: Who are your heroes? A.N.S.W.E.R. Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao
His mouth hangs open for a second, as reality sets in…
“YOU FASCISTS CAN GET THE @#$% OUTTA HERE!”
“But Jim invited us,” I argue to the back of his head. He’s already gone, making a bee-line straight to the cops.
Imagine that – a Marxist revolutionary RUNNING TO THE POLICE to cry for help…
1350 – We’ve suffered through bad music and a “live from death row” rant by cop-killer Mumia Abu-Jamal, and now it’s finally time for Red to speak.
He starts out by cursing us, again, as “----ING FASCISTS,” and denounces the same police officers to whom he whined about us as “JACKBOOTED NAZI STORMTROOPERS.” Then he goes on to express pity for the military, who after all are only “BUSH’S PAWNS,” who have no other choice but to join the military because they have been “ECONOMICALLY OPPRESSED BY BUSH’S CORPORATE FASCIST CRONIES!”
I respond by grabbing the megaphone and shouting back, ”SO NOW YOU’RE SAYING WE’RE STUPID AND POOR? HEY, THANKS A LOT!”
This only spins him up more. “AND THEY MAKE THE COLORED PEOPLE DO ALL THE FIGHTING FOR THEM!”
“HEY, I WAS IN IRAQ, AND I’M A MIDDLE-CLASS WHITE MAN! YOU TELLIN’ ME I DIDN’T HAVE TO GO?”
At this point, Red really starts losing it. He's spouting his Marxist revolutionary propaganda with such fervor that we can see the spittle flying out of his mouth even from back in the cheap seats.
We respond with a little chant of our own:
“FREEDOM ISN’T FREE! PEACE THROUGH VICTORY!”
Now Red has gone completely over the edge. He’s calling for “REVOLUTION NOW,” and starts frantically waving his red flag. “WE’RE NOT GOING TO STOP UNTIL THE RED FLAG FLIES OVER THE WHITE HOUSE!”
This made my day.
Bush Can't Apologize For The Vast Left Wing Conspiracy
I know I've got to be repeating somebody, but I'm not digging through pages of politics on this slow internet connection. All day yesterday and today, on talk radio, I've heard nothing except talk about Bush needing to apologize for 9/11. Has the left lost their mind?
Bush may have made his mistakes, but he is not to blame for 9/11. What kind of sick, twisted human being do you have to be to believe that Bush is at fault for this tragedy? The man that needs to apologize in Bin Laden, the man that hates our guts and orchestrated the attack that shook the world.
I'll use the analogy Neal Boortz used, although it may not be exactly the same.. A cop is sitting on the side of the road ticketing people for speeding. He finds two cars speeding, but he's only got one car, so he goes after only one of the speeders. Well it turned out that the car he let go got in an accident and killed three people. The driver walked away unscathed.
First of all, is the cop to blame? Would you demand that cop come out and apologize for the guy that actually commited the murder? Hell no! Now, that cop isn't even supposed to represent Bush. Bush would be that cop's superior. Would you expect the police chief to apologize for every crime commited on his shift that could've been prevented if the officers were omniscient?
Did Clinton ever apologize for the first attack on the WTC? I don't believe he did. Did Clinton even visit NYC after the attack occured? From what I hear, no.
Kerry may disgust me, but I would never demand that he apologize for 9/11 if he were in Bush's shoes, and no democrat would be demanding that he apologize either. That is what sickens me.
You Can Stand Bush Up at the Gates of Hell, but He Won't Back Down
I usually don't bother watching hour long press conferences when there are better things to do, but they moved American Idol till tomorrow, so they got me.
I'd say Bush took that press conference pretty well. I didn't notice any Bushisms, which I expected, and he didn't really get burned on any of the questions. He could've taken the easy way out and say we'd be lessening the number of troops, but he didn't sacrifice what he believed in for votes, he didn't pull a Kerry.
There were a few things I didn't like. I think it was the first question, where somebody asked Bush about Iraq being Bush's Vietnam. Bush could've easily taken that one home and put Kennedy in his place, but no, he had to just say he disagreed with the analogy. That was his chance to publically trash Kennedy's credibility, although Ted was never mentioned by name, but he missed it.
The second one was a question on whether the war would've been worth it if Bush doesn't win come November. He could've said yes, and leave it at that, but instead, he went on to some huge explanation on how the war was right and we're gonna win. That had to have hurt him.
Then there was another question. I didn't hear it, but Bush couldn't answer it. He still didn't show weakness, he kept his cool, and worked his way through it.
Too many of the questions revolved around his knowledge of 9/11, come on! Nothing short of Bush's voice being recorded saying "Screw it, I never liked those towers," will ever dent the election. Anything short of that can be disputed. Anything short of that will not be incriminating enough to rally the public.
One last thing that disturbed me was Condi sitting there looking menacing the whole time, she could've done something about that.
Hopefully the American Idol crowd managed to see this, because this press conference was what defined Bush. He didn't back down, he didn't show weakness, and that is exactly what we need in a president.
I'll be gone tomorrow, and most the next day, so don't think I'm caving in to any idiotic comments on Bush being Hitler and gassing millions in his quest for world domination, when you don't get a response.
There isn't too much political in the news lately, unless you count this 9/11 stuff, but everyone else but me pretty much has that covered, so how about some movies.
This one right here, from FightTheBias.com, shows Alex Baldwin suggesting the mass murder of the politicians, along with their families, responsible for the attempt to impeach former President Clinton.
Here we have Janeane Garofalo promising Bill O'Reilly she will apologize to the president, of course, she hasn't done it yet. This, as well as the next one, are courtesy of MediaResearch.org.
The partisan mainstream media hates it when the Right points out their bias. But sometimes we just can't help it.
Here are three recent comments by well known liberal senators that received little comment in the Big Media. Thankfully, conservative sources will not let things like these slide.
Kerry: In Defense of One of Our Iraqi Enemies (and Then Flips)
In an interview on National Public Radio aired April 7, John Kerry (D.-Mass.) called Shiite imam Moztada al-Sadr a "legitimate voice" in Iraq. Al-Sadr is the leader of the current uprising in Iraq that has resulted in the killing of several of our troops. One of the steps coalition forces took against al-Sadr was to shut down a newspaper owned by the imam after it urged violence U.S. troops. Of that action Kerry said:
They shut a newspaper that belongs to a legitimate voice in Iraq -- let me change the term "legitimate" -- they shut a newspaper that belongs to a voice, because he has clearly taken on a far more radical tone in recent days and aligned himself with both Hamas and Hezbollah, which is, sort of, a terrorist alignment.
If a Republican had let a line like that slip, I doubt there is any way it wouldn't have been the leading story for Dan, Peter, and/or Tom.
Kennedy: Iraq is Vietnam
Our troops are in a war in Iraq. Men are dying. So, how does Ted Kennedy (D.-Mass.) build them up? Well, here's some of what he said in an April 5 speech to the Brookings Institution:
By going to war in Iraq on false pretenses and neglecting the real war on terrorism, President Bush gave Al Qaeda two years -- two whole years -- to regroup and recover in the border regions of Afghanistan. As the terrorist bombings in Madrid and other reports now indicate, Al Qaeda has used that time to plant terrorist cells in countries throughout the world and establish ties with terrorist groups in many different lands.
By going to war in Iraq, we have strained our ties with longstanding allies around the world, allies whose help we clearly and urgently need on intelligence, on law enforcement, and militarily. We have made America more hated in the world and made the war on terrorism harder to win.
The result is a massive and very dangerous crisis in our foreign policy. We have lost the respect of other nations in the world.
Where do we go to get back our respect? How do we reestablish the working relationships we need with other countries to win the war on terrorism and advance the ideals we share? And how can we possibly expect President Bush to do that?
He is the problem, not the solution. Iraq is George Bush's Vietnam, and this country needs a new president.
Interestingly, I've seen no one in the liberal media challenge Kennedy on this and heard no one ask him whether Vietnam was John Kennedy's Vietnam, rather than "Nixon's War" as many on the Left like to label it.
Dodd: Love Fest for Byrd, but Not for Strom
Sen. Trent Lott (R.-Miss.) lost his job as Majority Leader and was drug through the mud in the national media because of his praises of former segregationist and former Sen. Strom Thurmond (R.-S.C.) during the celebration of Thurmond's 100th birthday.
On April Fools day this year, Sen. Chris Dodd (D.-Conn.) offered the following praise of former Ku Klux Klan member and current Sen. Robert Byrd (D.-W.V.) upon his casting of his 17,000th vote. Did the liberal media give Dodd the same treatment they gave Lott?
Several thoughts come to mind. This is a day of obvious significance in the number of votes that have been cast, 17,000, but it is far more important to talk about quality than quantity. Quantity is not an insignificant achievement, but the quality of my colleague and friend's service is what I think about when the name ROBERT C. BYRD comes to my mind.
I carry with me every single day, 7 days a week, a rather threadbare copy of the United States Constitution given to me many years ago--I can't even read it well now; it is so worn out--I may need a new copy--given to me by my seatmate, ROBERT C. BYRD. I revere it. I tell people why I carry it because it reminds me of the incredible gift given to me by the people of Connecticut to serve in this Chamber, to remind me of the importance of an oath we all made, and that is to do everything we can to preserve, protect, and defend the principles upon which this Nation was founded. ROBERT C. BYRD, in my mind, is the embodiment of that goal.
It has often been said that the man and the moment come together. I do not think it is an exaggeration at all to say to my friend from West Virginia that he would have been a great Senator at any moment. Some were right for the time. ROBERT C. BYRD, in my view, would have been right at any time. He would have been right at the founding of this country. He would have been in the leadership crafting this Constitution. He would have been right during the great conflict of civil war in this Nation. He would have been right at the great moments of international threat we faced in the 20th century. I cannot think of a single moment in this Nation's 220-plus year history where he would not have been a valuable asset to this country. . . .
There is no one I admire more, there is no one to whom I listen more closely and carefully when he speaks on any subject matter. I echo the comments of my colleague from Massachusetts. If I had to pick out any particular point of service for which I admire the Senator most, it is his unyielding defense of the Constitution. All matters come and go. We cast votes on such a variety of issues, but Senator Byrd's determination to defend and protect this document which serves as our rudder as we sail through the most difficult of waters is something that I admire beyond all else.
I don't remember anyone asking Sen. Dodd what he thought about Byrd's KKK days.
I don't feel like making this blog too large, so here's the link to an article they did back in november.
I was browsing through ConsumerFreedom and stumbled on some PETA stuff in the news. And I jump at any chance to speak out against PETA.
PETA unveiled it's new billboards, interpreted as a reference to the case of Robert Pickton, the B.C. man charged in the deaths of 15 women on his farm.
"Those ads are simply unacceptable,'' Martin said in Quebec.
"When you think of the terrible, terrible trauma that affected all of those women in British Columbia, when you think of what those families are going through right now -- that kind of publicity is just not acceptable.''
Of course, PETA's chief defender, Bruce Friedrich, has been quoted saying this, which I posted a while back. So remember who you're supporting when you let PETA get to you.
If we really believe that these activists don't have the right to be domestic terrorists, then, of course we’re going to be, as a movement, blowing stuff up and smashing windows. For the record, I don’t do this stuff, but I do advocate it. I think it’s a great way to bring an end to animal rights activism … I think it would be a great thing if all of these vegetarian restaurants, and the houses of animal rights activists, and PETA headquarters, and the liberals that fund them exploded tomorrow. I think it’s perfectly appropriate for people to take bricks and toss them at PETA supporters, and everything else along the line. Hallelujah to the people who are willing to do it. I'm just making fun of the audio clip for those of you who listened to it.
I mean, who can deny that this man is the modern day Fonzie?
Well, maybe he doesn't look anything like Fonzie, but at least he knows what he's talking about, right...? http://www.gop.com/flog/" title="http://www.gop.com/flog/" target="_blank"http://www.gop.com/flog/
It's flog time.
OPINION: Senator Kennedy Claims Administration Did Not Increase School Funding With No Child Left Behind. “Senator Kennedy … rails against the administration for demanding massive changes from public schools on ‘a tin cup budget.’ … Mr. Kennedy maintained that he supported [NCLB] only because he believed President Bush would demand substantial increases in federal spending on elementary and secondary education to achieve the law’s goals.” (Diana Jean Schemo, “Kennedy Demands Full Funding for School Bill,” The New York Times, 4/7/04)
FACT: President Bush Has Increased K-12 Education Spending By 40% Since He Took Office – More Than During Eight Years Under President Clinton. “Typical of Washington’s Beltwayspeak, a cry has gone up, saying that the No Child Left Behind education reform bill is ‘underfunded.’ Nothing could be further from the truth. President Bush has increased K-12 education spending by 40% since he took office. That’s more in two years than it increased during the eight previous years under President Clinton. In raw terms, this president has increased education spending by $11 billion. As a nation, we now spend $470 billion dollars a year on K-12 education locally and federally – more than on national defense. What is ‘underfunded’ about that?” (Secretary Of Education Rod Paige, Op-Ed, “It’s Not About The Money,” The Wall Street Journal, 10/29/03)
Federal Role In Funding Education “Has Been Increasing Rapidly Under The Bush Administration.” “The No Child Left Behind law is, intrinsically, an inexpensive school reform, a plan to get more bang from existing bucks, not a high-priced mandate. ... Looking at 25 states, the Harvard University economist Caroline Hoxby found that the costs of accountability systems in place in the 2000-01 school year ranged from less than $2 per public school student in South Carolina to $34 per student in Delaware. Costs in the median state were just $15 per public school student. Meanwhile, average per-pupil costs in U.S. public schools now run approximately $10,000 a year. In short, the true costs of the No Child Left Behind Act are no more than 0.2 percent of the total cost of public schooling. Would that all unfunded mandates were so cheap. But if the mandate is cheap, the new federal bucks are plentiful. Historically, education has been a matter to be funded by state and local governments. But the federal role has been increasing rapidly under the Bush administration. Between 2000 and 2003, the U.S. Department of Education upped its contribution to elementary and secondary education by approximately $300 per pupil, from $23 billion to $36 billion dollars – 15 times the cost of accountability.” (Paul E. Peterson and Martin R. West, “The Contentious ‘No Child’ Law II: Money Has Not Been Left Behind,” Education Week, 3/17/04)

I thought this was pretty funny, so I'll blog it. I always prefer political humor over actual politics, it's more of a friendly hate rather than a throat slitting hate.
The War on Terror: Yes, Virginia, Militant Islamists Do Want to Kill Us "Only Militant Islamists celebrated the mass murder of three thousand people on 9/11. Liberals can tell themselves that this is not a holy war, but the Militant Islamists obviously did not get the memo." (p. 16)

Helplessness Is Not a Virtue: Why We Need Missile Defense "Contrary to what over half of Americans think, the U.S. today has no way to intercept and destroy a nuclear missile launched at us. So what can we do if the Chinese, North Koreans, or some crazed Islamic state launches a nuclear missile at us? Duck." (p. 61)
America the Beautiful: Why this "Arrogant, Unilateral, Racist, Gun-Crazed Society" Is the Envy of the World "Why is America the greatest country in the world? Guns Don't Kill People: Liberal Gun Control Laws Kill People "Criminals use guns to murder, cars to get away, knives, hammers, and ropes to break in, and even airplanes to bring down buildings. The focus should be on the criminal, not the tool he used." (p. 187)
Oh, and Al? Bush Won "How exactly did Bush steal an election when he won all the recounts? George Bush gained more votes than Al Gore on election night after the automatic recount and after the absentee ballots were counted." (p. 209)

If the Catholic Church Thinks You're Wrong, Then Maybe You Aren't Catholic
Since when is it okay to belong to a Church, but not share critical values it holds dear? I'm not Christian because I believe when I die I will be reincarnated as a cow. So why does Kerry think he can be Catholic, but oppose Catholic values? In the words of the Amy from the Dear Amy column in my newspaper when a couple was having trouble with wedding proceedings and the church, "You can't pick and choose which practices of the church you wish to adopt and which you don't."
Archbishop O'Malley has said since the summer that pro-choice Catholic politicians are in a state of grave sin and cannot properly take Communion, though he mentioned neither Mr. Kerry nor Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, another Massachusetts Democrat.
Mr. Kerry's positions favoring human stem-cell research; the right to abortion, including partial-birth abortion; and civil unions between homosexuals are contrary to church teachings and have turned a vocal and active group of conservative Catholics against him.
"People ask: 'Is he making up his beliefs to take the red states?' " said Timothy Thibodeau, a history professor at Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y. "Kerry's problem is that people doubt his sincerity. They think he is cooking up his religion just in time to run for the election."
"If Cardinal McCarrick and Archbishop O'Malley don't do something, Senator John Kerry and all these other pro-abortion Catholic politicians will receive Communion and the rest of the faithful will think, 'Gee, it's OK to support abortion and euthanasia.' "
If Kerry wants to call himself a Catholic, make him stand up for the beliefs he is supposed to represent. I'm not asserting that he is using it as a political tool, because apparently it's wrong for me to jump to conclusions, but I wouldn't put it past him.
I am hereby a animal rights activist, although I oppose animal rights. I am gay, although I don't like men. These archbishops and cardinals need to put Kerry in his place. Either straighten up or get out!
While looking at a PETA movie at Penn & Teller: Bullshit's website, I also came across a Greenpeace movie.
Founder and former president of Greenpeace said this, in his own words "The environmental movement was basically hijacked by political and social activists who came in and very cleverly learned how to use green rhetoric or green language to cloak agendas that had actually more to do with anti-corporatism, anti-globalization, anti-business and had very little to do with science or ecology, and that's when I left."
I'll continue on the America vs Environmentalists with this link.
It turns out that scientists and environmentalists hold markedly different views. Sixty-seven percent of cancer specialists believe there's no cancer epidemic while only 27 percent of environmental activists hold the same view. Only twenty-seven percent of cancer specialists agree with the statement "industry causes rising cancer rates", while 64 percent of environmentalists do. The scientists didn't trust the media. Only 22 percent of cancer specialists consider the New York Times' reporting on cancer topics to be trustworthy and only six percent found the TV network news to be so.
When 400 climatologists, oceanographers and atmospheric scientists were asked whether evidence supports the "greenhouse effect" theory, 41 percent agreed compared to 66 percent of environmentalists. Similarly, 51 percent of energy scientists say nuclear power plants are safe compared to only 10 percent of environmentalists.
Environmentalists not only differ from scientists but are markedly different from the general public as well. Environmental activists are a narrow elite: 76 percent are male, 97 percent are white and a third have incomes over $100,000. They are unrepresentative of America politically as well. Sixty-three percent describe themselves as liberals compared to 18 percent of the general public. Only six percent are Republicans; ten times as many are Democrats. To the question, "I'd fight for my country, right or wrong," 57 percent of all Americans answered yes while only 9 percent of environmentalists said yes.
So why do we hear these people more than the scientists? They aren't more credible, but I guess the "sensation, misinformation, and scare tactics" get their word out there.
It is not hard to understand how radical environmentalists sympathize with tyrants who have little regard for human life. One need not go further than some of their statements, such as those cited in Cris Horner's article "In Gaia We Trust", in Competitive Enterprise Institute's Monthly Planet newsletter (February 2003).
"To feed a starving child is to exacerbate the world population problem." - Lamont Cole In response to the implications of millions dying of malaria from a global ban on DDT, Charles Wursta, of the Environmental Defense Fund said, "This is as good a way to get rid of them as any." Paul Watson, founder of Greenpeace, said, "I got the impression that instead of going out to shoot birds, I should go out and shoot the kids who shoot birds."
It seems democrats had given up on trying to get Nader out of the race, but I guess with jobs looking up, they're starting to look for every edge they can get again.
"We call on you to stop this quixotic and destructive effort," the letter said. "The stakes are simply too high. We cannot afford another four years of George W. Bush, but your candidacy only serves to help his re-election campaign."
I hate to say it, but 3rd party voters are the only ones that we can truly say care about the issues, Bush voters to a lesser degree, and Kerry voters even more so. People voting for Nader are voting strictly on issues, not because one man isn't another man.
Of course, everyone knows Kerry has flip-flopped on just about every issue that comes to mind, but that doesn't matter because he's not Bush. The anybody but Bush crowd doesn't thrive in the 3rd parties, and as much as I may disagree with their views, it still makes you respect them a helluva lot more than democrats, who vote for Kerry for simply not being someone else.
That's right, get em right here. Nowhere else on the web can you get these rare pictures, well I guess you can't get em here either. No, I don't really have any, but if I repeat the phrase tons of times, I bet ya it'll bring me more traffic. It brought you here, and it better bring some people off google.

While I'm at it, why don't I add some other famous politicians, of course, the traffic these bring in won't be people I want commenting on my blog.

I was watching Conan O'Brian, and his Kerry joke caught my atention "Kerry on an MTV interview told viewers that he was fascinated by rap and hip-hop. He said that he couldn't wait to meet them."
Wait, it's on now, on the John Stewart Show.
So I, of course, had to jump at the chance to make fun of Kerry's infinite uncoolness
Kerry told MTV, "I'm fascinated by rap and hip-hop. I think there's a lot of poetry in it. There's a lot of anger, a lot of social energy in it. And I think you'd better listen to it pretty carefully, cause it's important.''
First of all, if you didn't hear this from his mouth, it doesn't have the same effect. And in the words of Jon Stewart "In the words of street poet 50 cent..."
Now I don't know what music Kerry really likes, but I do know that nobody says they're fascinated with rap and hip-hop. He could've said, "I love/like/can dig/am into/listen to hip hop. But fascinated? Please. Then again, I'd probably make fun of him no matter what he said because he's Kerry, and it's hip-hop. Clinton had a hip-hop persona, but Kerry looks more like an opera guy.
"I'm still listening because I know that it's a reflection of the street and a reflection of life, and I understand all that,'' Kerry said. "I'm not for the government censoring or stepping in."
Since when does Kerry understand the street? Don't get me wrong, I know Bush is a millionaire too, but he isn't the one going on MTV saying he understands all that.
I'm interrupting this with what just came on Jon Stewart.
Viewer: "Senator Kerry, would you say that you were cool in college, and are you cool now?"
Kerry: "Well, if I said I were cool, then I wouldn't be cool, would I?"
Stewart: "So....No?"
I've been back and forth watching tv and typing, so forgive me if things in this blog don't flow together smoothly.
